History

Lion Air which operates with IATA (JT) and ICAO (LNI) runs under the management of PT Lion Mentari Airlines. In 1999, this airline was founded. Throughout its journey, Lion Air always gives the best services for their passengers to become one of the promising airlines in the future. This airline began its operation on 30-06-2000. The first ever flight route was Jakarta (CGK) - Pontianak (PNK) using Boeing 737-200. The milestone that has been reached by the airline is In 2018, the airline has carried 318 milion passengers since 2005.
