History

Air Vanuatu which operates with IATA code (NF) and ICAO code (AVN) was founded in 1981. The airline is operated under Air Vanuatu Ltd.. During its period of establishment, Air Vanuatu always tries its best to earn a position as one of the most favourable airlines in the future. This airline started its operation on 05-09-1981. The first ever flight route was SYD - VLI using McDonnell Douglas DC-9-31.

Air Vanuatu cabin crew wears a uniform in Blue. For male flight attendants, they wear Blue short sleeve shirt with black trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear Black short sleeve shirt with blue patterned scarf and black skirt.
