This family-run guest house is located in the fishing village of Gager, on the island of Rügen. Pension Fröhlich offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional thatched roof. The bright rooms at Pension Fröhlich feature wooden interiors, satellite TV and a private bathroom, and the apartments include a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a terrace overlooking the Mönchgut Peninsula and the Baltic Sea. A rich breakfast buffet is served each morning in the elegant brickwork breakfast room or on the terrace. Guests can enjoy homemade cakes in the afternoon, and fresh fish specialities in the evenings. The garden at Pension Fröhlich features a sunbathing lawn, barbecue area, table tennis table and small children’s playground. The in-house sauna is free on Mondays and Tuesdays. Guests at Pension Fröhlich can hire boats and bicycles for exploring the Rügen Biosphere Reserve. It offers free parking and is a 50-minute drive from Sassnitz Harbour.
