This property is the only waterside hotel in la Baie. Auberge de la Rivière Saguenay overlooks the Saguenay River, which meets the St. Lawrence, and creates the fjord of Saguenay. The property offers guided kayak and hiking tours. Located between the Parc National du Fjord Saguenay and la Baie, sounds of the city are avoided, birds chirping and sounds of the water prevail. All rooms are equipped with mini-fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Guests can dine in the restaurant and taste local Saguenay Lac St-Jean cuisine and ingredients. The property also has a concierge service to arrange tours and offer information on the area. The area around the property offers opportunities to go on a dog sled ride or fish. Cross-country and kite skiing are also popular, and guests can go kayaking or hiking near the property.

Extra beds cannot be accommodated, and the maximum number of baby cots in the room is 1. Extra charges need to be paid directly on-site.
