Nestled in tropical gardens on the shores of the Bay Balaclava, InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort offers accommodation alongside a white-sand beach. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort features a spa and 2 swimming pools. Guests can enjoy a variety of cuisine at one of the 5 restaurants, such as Mediterranean, Oriental, Indian and European. Snacks and drinks are on offer at 3 bars, one of which is by the pool. Each spacious, modern room and suite has a lounge area with satellite TV. Some have a furnished terrace, spa bath or hot tub, and the suites feature a kitchenette. Most private bathrooms have a free-standing bath. Providing massages, Yuj Spa includes 7 treatment rooms, a sauna and 24-hour gym with ocean views. Tennis, windsurfing and snorkelling are available, and the 24-hour reception can book tours and arrange bike or car rental. Children’s activities are provided and there is evening entertainment.
