History

Batik Air operating with IATA code (ID) and ICAO code (BTK) was first established in 2013. The airline runs under the management of PT. Batik Air Indonesia. During the year of its development, Batik Air intends to serve more customers through the services it offers. This airline was first flown on 03-05-2013. The first ever flight route was Jakarta (CGK) - Manado (MDC) and Jakarta (CGK) - Balikpapan (BPN) using Boeing 737-900ERs. Batik Air has won OAG Flightview in Januari 2018 and PT Angkasa Pura in 2017.

Flight Attendant

Batik Air cabin crew wears a uniform that is dominated by white, purple and red. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with purple trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear white kebaya V collar or white kebaya round collar with embroidery and batik pencil long skirt which is dominated by purple color. The design itself represents Batik Air sense of purpose to deliver the best service to their passengers throughout the flight.
