Boasting various hot spring baths and a classic Karahafu-style façade, Shunyokan offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation in Unzen. Guests can enjoy ocean and sunset views from the open-air hot spring bath on annex’s rooftop. It is a 1-minute walk from Obama Bus Terminal. All rooms in annex are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. In-room facilities include a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The Shunyokan Ryokan features free luggage storage and an on-site gift shop. Drinks vending machines are also available. Cosy family hot spring baths can be reserved for private use. The property is a 60-minute bus ride from JR Isahaya Station. Guests can walk for about 7 minutes to get to the longest public foot-bath in Japan. Fresh seafood and local vegetables are featured in Shunyokan’s Japanese meals.
