Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. Several tourist attractions can be easily reached by car, such as Cozia Monastery, 23 km away, or Salina Ocnele Mari, 7 km away.
