Located approximately 1,000 metres above sea level at the northern foot of Mount Pilatus, Hotel Hammer enjoys a quiet location in Eigenthal. It offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and a large summer terrace. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine, seasonal specialities, vegetarian dishes using local produce. Fine wines are also available. Meals can be enjoyed out on the terrace in summer and the drinking water comes from a natural spring. Half and full board is available on request and offers a variety of choices. Rooms are decorated with wooden floors and feature beautiful mountain views. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are possible 200 metres from the property. The village of Eigenthal can be reached by car or bus from Lucerne in 20 minutes. The hotelier can arrange transfers from the Lucerne Train Station at reasonable rates.
