Just outside the New Forest National Park, the family-run Walcot House offers stylish bed and breakfast accommodation around 2 miles from the Hampshire coast. With a 4-star rating from Visit England, this guest house has free parking and Wi-Fi, and is 25 minutes’ drive from Southampton and Lymington. Each guest room has a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. Most rooms have en suite facilities with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries. A full breakfast menu includes a traditional cooked English or vegetarian breakfast, along with omelettes, pancakes and English muffins. There are cereals, juices, porridge and yoghurt, and a range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. The Beaulieu National Motor Museum is 5 miles from Walcot House, and the beautiful Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway are less than 10 minutes’ drive away. Hythe Marina, offering regular ferry crossings to Southampton, is also around 5 miles from this guest house.
