Over the years, Mahan Air has grown remarkably and continues to provide a credible and trustworthy service for their customers. The first ever flight route was Tehran - Kerman using Tupolev Tu-154M. Mahan Air has been awarded Best carrier serving Iran in 2005 and Best airline to Iran in 2006. Nowadays, the airline has successfully obtained In 1996, Mahan Air carried its one million passengers for the first time. In 1999, the airline introduced the First A300. In 2001, Mahan Air began began services to Far East routes, with its new Airbus A310. On the 10-year anniversary since the operation, Mahan Air has exceeded 5 million people boarding. In 2005, Mahan Air took delivery of its first of four Airbus A320. In 2006, Mahan Air carried 10 million passengers. In 2016, Mahan Air launched online check-in service through the website, and start launched for international flights from Imam Khomeini airport at the next year.
