Guests are welcome to prepare their own meals in the fully-equipped kitchenette of the property. Barbecue facilities are available, as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas. Local restaurants, serving traditional Portuguese meals are available within a 5-minute drive from the house. Babysitting services are available, at an extra fee. A children’s playground is also available, for the younger guests of the house. The private and tranquil property is gated and includes a green garden with scenic views over the ocean. The Adega’s garden is an ideal spot for relaxing, featuring a resting area under the trees with hammocks. The areas around the house are also inviting for hikers and those wishing to explore nature. It is a 15-minute drive from the nearest harbour, which has connections with the neighbouring São Jorge Island. The village centre is about 10 km away, where guests can visit the Whaler’s industry museum, the Municipal Library the Media centre. The area also has a variety of local restaurants and bars. The Adega is just a 5-minute walk from a warm ocean natural swimming pool, with views over the neighbouring island of São Jorge. The Pico Airport is a 29-minute drive from the Adega Som de Cagarros.
