Providing free Wi-Fi and free parking, Fastbook Hostel is a short 2-minute walk from a gym, pool and yoga classes at Desa Permata Sports Centre. A shared living room with a TV and DVD player are available for guests' usage. There is also a common kitchen. Both dormitory rooms and private rooms are available at the hostel. All come with air conditioning and an electric kettle. Bathrooms are either shared or private, and have a shower. Hairdryers and alarm clocks can be provided upon request. Facing the popular Sunday Night Market, the charming 4-storey shop house is within a 2-minute walk from the Asian Food Court and a 3-minute drive away to Kek Lok Si. Hotel Fastbook is a 20-minute drive from Penang International Airport. Car, motorbike and bicycle rentals, as well as airport transfers are available upon request at a surcharge.

It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of MYR 30 is required on arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that guests are required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation within 24 hours of booking. The property will contact guests directly with payment instructions via Paypal. The front desk operates until 22:00. A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
