Galaxy Pod Hostel is a comfortable, relaxing and cozy hostel offering dormitory rooms and sleeping capsules in Reykjavík. The start of the pedestrian portion of Laugavegur High Street is about 750 meters away from the hostel. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property.
Our professional staff will assist you with everything you need during our opening hours.
Because of the pandemic, our property might have to reduce our front desk opening hours and services.
Featuring adjustable lighting, the sleeping capsules also include personal a safe deposit box, a locker, various lighting settings, a fan as well as a curtain and door for privacy. All our rooms are dormitories, all have access to shared bathroom facilities and kitchen.
None of our capsules provide a locking system for security reasons, they offer air circulation (no air conditioning), and they are great for experiencing comfort and privacy.
Most of Tour companies provide pick-ups and drop-offs right from in front our property.
Our location offers free public parking, proximity to supermarkets, shopping malls, parks, departure routes for the airport and for the out-of-town Icelandic natural attractions.
