Located on the shores of Lake Saimaa, Hotel Heimari offers year-round accommodation. The hotel is situated 13.4 km from Mekkeli and offer free WiFi, game rooms, mini golf cou and a traditional Finnish summer restaurant. There is also free parking available. Hotel rooms are suited for one or two persons. In some rooms there is a view of Lake Saimaa. There are also rooms for people traveling with animals. All rooms feature modern decor, a bathroom with a shower, a TV, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. A lakeside sauna is free to use when open, along with a bookable wooden hot tub. The hotel loans out equipment to guests for mini golf and disc golf. There are also bicycles, boats and a canoe to borrow. In the summer guests can swim in Lake Saimaa, go boating and fish. In the winter time it is possible to ski, ice-fish and swim in a hole in the ice. Heimari Hotel is within 30 minutes’ drive of Mikkeli Airport.
