Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Any guests in excess of the maximum occupancy of the room, including children, will be charged separately How to get to the island: Isla Chiquita offers courtesy parking at Punta Cuchillos, our mainland facilities located approximately two miles from Paquera, Puntarenas. Our own water taxi provides guests with complimentary round-trip transfers from either Punta Cuchillos or the Paquera Ferry arrival platform (10-minute boat ride). Directions from SJO: • Guests who visit us from the San José region must reach Puntarenas to board either the Paquera Ferry or a private boat transfer. • Private boat transfers available with extra cost. It takes approximately 40 minutes to reach Isla Chiquita. To schedule, please contact our Reservations Department • If opting for the Ferry, vehicles may be left in third-party parking facilities near the Puntarenas boarding point. Cabinas Frank is frequently used by our guests and staff. Alternatively, vehicles may be transported on the Ferry. • Foot arrivals by Ferry are greeted by our staff at the platform and are guided to the water taxi on site. • Vehicle arrivals by Ferry must drive to the Punta Cuchillos parking facilities to board the water taxi. Directions from LIR: · Guests who visit us from the Guanacaste region must head to our mainland facilities in Punta Cuchillos. Driving time is approximately 3 hours. Our Reservations Department will gladly assist with transfer options or car rentals. · Vehicles may be left at our secured parking facilities in Punta Cuchillos.
