Surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and cretan herbs, Vergis Epavlis is situated in the middle of Crete 14 km from Heraklion, perched on a hillside near Agios Myronas. It offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Guests enjoy easy access to beach both at the south and north sides of the island. The suitable location can provide a Cretan tour and at the same time easy access to the archaeological sites of Knossos and Festos. The hotel’s philosophy is to endeavour to offer you your own personal milieu, within an aesthetic setting featuring a beautiful natural environment. There are spectacular vistas of the sea, Mount Youchtas Zeus’s legendary birthplace, the snow-capped Lassithi mountain range and the vineyard and olive grove strewn lush hills and valleys.
