Cabin Baggage Allowance of Lion Group
Passengers are allowed to carry luggage only 1 (one) place with a maximum of weight 7 (seven) kg, and maximum dimension of 40cm x 30cm x 20cm and a bag of personal items for use during the trip.
Cabin baggage is accepted in the cabin are subject to availability of space in the over head bin. Restricted storage space is also available under the front seat. In the event no space being available in the aircraft to stow cabin baggage. It will be necessary to remove and load the same in the baggage hold as per safety regulations.

Lion Air was the first low cost airline in Indonesia established in October 1999 by Rusdi and Kusnan Kirana. Lion Air begun operated on 30 June 2000 with flights schedule between Jakarta and Denpasar, Bali using Boeing 737.200.
On 18 November 2011, the airlines announced the new record for the world's biggest single order of 230 planes for commercial airline worth $21.7 billion.
In 2003 a subsidiary airlines named Wings Air was established and operating the lower density routes. In 2012 subsidiaries were developed in Malaysia with name Malindo Air and in 2013 Thai Lion Air the subsidiaries of Lion Air was established in Thailand.
Also in 2013, Lion Air has launched the full service subsidiary named Batik Air.

Lion Air started the operations on 30 June 2000 with first flights schedule between Jakarta and Denpasar using Boeing 737-200.
Lion Air has breaking the records for the largest aircraft order for 230 aircraft from Boeing. The order, become the largest order in terms of aircraft ordered as well the cost of the order.
Tremendous growth, Lion Air set a new world record when it placed an order for 234 A320 jets with Airbus on 2013. the order of aircrafts become the largest single order ever made surpassing previous record by Boeing $22.4 Billion.
