The St Ives is a boutique family owned hotel situated on the seafront in Dunoon, a short stroll away from the town centre and the ferry terminal. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine in the guest lounge with views over the bay. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, high-speed WiFi as well as a secure wired internet connection and a Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. Guests will also find fluffy towels, toiletries, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray with traditional Scottish tea cakes. There is a bar onsite with a selection of gins and whisky and a cocktail hour. Breakfast is included in the price and has few menu options to choose from, including traditional Scottish breakfast, smoked salmon from the award-winning Argyll Smokery, free-range eggs from a local farm and coffee from Argyll Roasters. Vegan and various dietary requirements are catered for. Dunoon is the main resort on the Cowal Peninsula and the maritime gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Glasgow is an hour away with excellent public transport links.
