Westwood Lodge

We are excited to open Westwood Lodge, our timber-framed luxury countryside holiday accommodation suitable for large parties of up to 16 people. Based approximately two miles outside of the historic town of Much Wenlock, Westwood Lodge boasts eight bedrooms and a number of home comforts and amenities. Downstairs consists of a large games room that’s home to a pool table, air hockey table, and a 42” smart television linked to an Xbox One, Blu-Ray player and Netflix connectivity. This leads to a brand-new fitted kitchen and open-plan dining area, featuring an extendable dining table for up to 16-people, leather settee and 52” television. The dining area also features a log burner and under floor heating in concrete polished floor, perfect for cosy nights in. There is also a cloakroom area by the main entrance, plus a small WC and dog shower. Outside the lodge sits a private enclosed garden and decking area with seating to fit up to 16 people. The outdoor space includes a wood-fired hot tub (sits 10-12 people) enclosed with glazed balustrades, a covered BBQ area, fire bowl, table tennis table and dart board. In total, the lodge has eight bedrooms (five downstairs, three upstairs), four of which have an en-suite shower room. There are five king-size beds, and one can be made into two single beds, the upstairs with restricted head height, there are six single beds and one can be made into a king bed & there is an adjoining bathroom to one of the bedrooms. Quality bed linen and towels are provided in all bedrooms for guest. There is also a large wheelchair-accessible wet room on the ground floor to cater for any guests with disabilities or limited mobility. Westwood Lodge sits on a secure plot of land that can only be accessed through electric gates. It has a long tarmac and gravel drive with space to park up to five vehicles. We welcome one well-behaved dog per party. We may accommodate a second dog upon request. As mentioned, there is a dog shower on the ground floor, but towels are not provided for dogs, so we request that you bring your own. We have a stable that can house one well-behaved mediumsized horse, with a paddock for them to canter. Please contact the owner for more information if you wish to use this facility.
