Thrums is constructed from 2 large well-preserved Georgian villas on the south side of Edinburgh city centre and offers a variety of room types. The property is a 1-mile walk from the city centre and served by frequent buses. It has free Wi-Fi in all rooms, a free private car park and a variety of en suite rooms. The are many bars, cafes and fine restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Many rooms have period features. There is a guest lounge and a large rear gardens. There is no lift. The Old Town district is in walking distance, 1.8 km from The Thrums. Nearby points of interest are the University, Holyrood Park and Palace and Edinburgh Castle.
