Featuring views of the Latemar and Catinaccio mountain ranges, Hotel Schönwald offers Alpine-style rooms and a restaurant, 2 km from the Nova Levante-Laurin I cable car. In winter, a free ski bus to/from the Carezza ski area is provided. Rooms are fitted with carpeted floors and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most face the woods, while some include a balcony with views of the Latemar and Catinaccio mountain ranges. The restaurant specialises in international cuisine, and special menus are also available. Breakfast is a generous buffet breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, and 7 types of jams, together with fruits and yoghurt. Eggs can be prepared on request. Trekking paths start right outside the Schönwald, which also includes a shared terrace and a ping-pong table. The owner will recommend you the best bike paths of the area. Bolzano Station is 20 km from the hotel. On request, a pick-up service from a bus stop opposite the train station can be organised. The centre of Nova Levante is a 2-minute drive away.
