With free WiFi and a good reputation for food, this family-run hotel is located just off the M6 in Carnforth and is an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
The Gateway Restaurant is a welcoming environment for guests to dine in, with a varied menu using locally sourced produce. The welcoming lounge offers a relaxing space to enjoy a drink before your meal.
The County Hotel is perfectly placed to discover the area attractions. The Forest of Bowland is an area of outstanding natural beauty in rural Lancashire and North Yorkshire, offering ample opportunity for walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding.
All comfortable and spacious rooms are en suite, with a TV. Guest rooms are located in a separate building to the restaurant and bar.
