Overlooking the Præstø Fjord, this traditional hotel provides peaceful accommodation in the coastal town of Præstø. It features a sea-view restaurant and rooms with flat-screen TVs. This award-winning hotel (Danish Dining Guide) was recognized in October 2014 for the stay and dining.
Hotel Frederiksminde’s bright rooms are decorated with old-style furniture and beautiful paintings. Some rooms also offer views of the waterfront while others have a small balcony.
The Michelin star awarded elegant à la carte restaurant, offers a mix of fresh seafood, seasonal game and Nordic specialities. In summer, drinks are served out on the terrace.
Nearby attractions include the Nysø Manor and the islands of Maderne, Storeholm and Lilleholm. Both Copenhagen and Møns Klint can be reached within a 1-hour drive. On-site parking is free for guests. Copenhagen airport is a 1-hour drive away.
