Located just a 10-minute drive from Serra da Estrela Ski Resort, the Luna Hotel Serra da Estrela provides a ski school and year-round outdoor sporting activities. The hotel offers an indoor and outdoor pool and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Rooms at Luna Hotel Serra da Estrela are decorated with wooden floors and ceilings, classic furnishings and creamy fabrics. They are all equipped with flat-screen TVs, a work desk and include en suite bathrooms. Specialities from the Covilhã area are served daily at the in house Medieval Restaurant, while the lobby bar offers regional wine and local spirits. Guests with children will appreciate babysitting services and playgrounds. Horse riding and hiking are possible within the natural surroundings of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
