Pousada do Riacho features brick chalets set in flowered gardens and tropical palm trees. It is only 700 metres from the centre of Barreirinhas and offers adventures sports and ecotourism.
Guests at Pousada Do Riacho can enjoy 4x4 jeep tours and nature trails through Lençois Maranhenses National Park. They can also raft on Preguiças River, or visit the nearby Tapuio Flour Mills.
Private chalets at Riacho have simple interiors with original brick walls and brown tiled floors. All are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar and TV, and have balconies with garden views.
