Located on top of Kaunispää Mountain, Star Arctic Hotel is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. Each room features large windows to view the surrounding nature and if lucky, the Northern Lights during winter. A shared sauna is also available.
Rooms include a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. You will find a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. Extras include bathrobes and slippers.
A mix of traditional Lappish cuisine and modern dishes are available at the on site restaurant. Wine tasting are also held on site next to the fireplace. There is also a gift shop featuring Sami handcrafted goods.
A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as skiing, husky and wildlife safaris, and ice fishing. The hotel also offers ski equipment hire and ski storage. Ivalo Airport is 28 km away.
