Situated along the Breede River, Malagas Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, volleyball court and trampoline. It offers river cruises, and also has a paddleboat and canoes for rent.
It was built in the old style to give you that old world feeling of stepping back in time.
The rooms have wood-beamed ceilings, a TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Each en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer and shower.
The main building offers an enclosed patio, bar and lounge with satellite TV. The restaurant serves South African home-cooking and a full South African breakfast.
Guests can enjoy the billiards table, darts, volleyball and croquet. Conference and team-building facilities, ranging from karaoke to a sunset cruise, are also available. A free WiFi data allocation is provided and additional data can be purchased at the property.
Malagas Hotel is located 25 km from De Hoop Nature Reserve, and 35 km from the whale watching spot. Swellendam is 50 km north of the hotel.
