This elegant and traditional manor house hotel is located just 18 km from the world famous Geirangerfjord. The interiors feature lavish furnishings, and outside guests can enjoy a garden and terrace surrounded by mountain scenery. Each bedroom at Hotel Union Øye comes with free Wi-Fi access, a private bathroom and complimentary toiletries. Rooms are decorated individually, many featuring a four-poster bed and some with a balcony. Union Øye’s restaurant serves seasonal lunch and dinner menus with specially selected wines and local produce. Guests can relax in the hotel’s lounge areas, including a wood-panelled library and the bright Sun Lounge. Canoes and bicycles can be rented on site, and guests can enjoy fishing in the nearby Norangsfjord. Stranda Ski Centre is a 1-hour dirve away. Ålesund and its airport are just over 2 hour’s drive away.
