In Schriesheimer Tal, on the edge of the Odenwald Forest, this hotel serves regional and international cuisine, a cocktail bar and traditional beer garden, overlooking a children’s playground. Each room features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms have a balcony with scenic views of the spacious, green garden surrounding the Hotel Scheid. The Scheid’s restaurant offers a rich menu, including steaks, tapas, pasta and Odenwald specialities. It offers a buffet breakfast, room service and barbecue facilities. Outside, guests can relax on the sun terrace or sunbathe in the garden in good weather. The surrounding Odenwald Nature Park is ideal for cycling tours and nature hikes. Speyer Cathedral and Schriesheim Old Town can be visited.
