Riverview Cabin is located within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, close to the river Balvaig and Loch Lubnaig, with great views and fishing rights (2 rods) on the river. Strathyre is a magical place for nature lovers with Red Squirrels, Deer, Pine Marten, Otters and a whole host of wild birds. All on one level this detached lodge is the ideal spot for a family holiday, set in peaceful surroundings there is lots to keep all ages entertained from the front door. Strathyre has a playground, village shop and pub and hotel serving food and a café. There are miles of foot paths through woodland and an abundance of family-friendly cycle routes, The Sustrans National Cycle Route 7 passes through the village. You can amble along the loch side or head off into the mountains and there are many peaks in the area just waiting to be climbed including Ben Ledi and Ben More. A fabulous location for guests to explore the immediate area and beyond, there are wonderful scenic drives through the Trossachs and a cruise on Loch Katrine. Discover the rich history around you with tales of Rob Roy Macgregor, clan burial grounds and battles, historic buildings, castles and distilleries are all within easy driving distance. After spending your day exploring, River View provides a welcoming return to the bright open plan living area with comfortable seating and wood burner which is perfect for everyone to gather and plan the next day’s activities.
