The Casa do Fontanário de Óbidos is a traditional-style house located in the centre of the scenic medieval town of Óbidos. This 15th century house faces the famous medieval walls and is 50 metres from the main street. All rooms at the Casa do Fontanário feature a private bathroom, wardrobe, satellite TV. Some of the rooms have a minibar. All areas of the property enjoy a view and free WiFi access. Breakfast is not included but we will offer free coffee, biscuit, fruit of the season and water that guests will find with everything in the kitchen available only for the guests (only during the morning). In the traditionally decorated dining area with some equipment, guests can eat something simple that they bring, without cooking. For more meal options, the Óbidos centre features plenty of local restaurants serving Portuguese tapas, regional specialties and international flavors. The area is also known for its street front shops and kiosks serving the traditional Ginjinha de Óbidos, a sour cherry liquor. The Óbidos centre is a 1-minute walk and has a number of local shops, cafés and bars. Guests can go cycling through the cobbled streets of the town or just take a stroll in this well-preserved medieval setting.
