Situated along Lake Keitele, these log-cabin cottages offer a private beach area with a jetty and row boat. Each includes a private sauna, furnished patio and BBQ. Sumiainen is 11 km away.
A fully equipped kitchen and a spacious seating area with a fireplace and TV are standard features at Matila’s Cottages. All have a bathroom with shower, as well as views over the lake.
The summertime Ankkuri Café, 3 km away, serves beer and wine, along with light snacks. It is possible to reach the café by row boat from Matila’s.
Fishing, hiking and cross-country skiing are common area activities. The forest area surrounding the cottages provides nice mushroom and berry picking opportunities.
