At Heart of It All! Lotus Provincetown is located in the center of town, just steps from where the ferry lands on the picturesque wharf filled with charming boats and tiny seaside shops. Within less than a minute walk on Commercial Street, visitors are treated to the delicious treats at the famous Portuguese Bakery, the tantalizing shows at the Post Office Cabaret, succulent seafood at the renowned Lobster Pot, and many, many more offerings from Provinctown's most notable institutions. Lotus Provinctown first opened in the 1980s by the Lovingers, who lovingly restored the Queen Anne building originally known as the Cutler Pharmacy when it was built around 1900. The building underwent a full renovation in 2008, and its current owner has further modernized the property with remote locks for contactless checkins, streaming TVs, and all white, luxurious down bedding. The property has a charming, private garden hidden from busy Commercial Street, housing a cedar tub, dry sauna, and outdoor shower (beginning June 2023). Lotus Provincetown is located in the heart of the historic district. You're just a few feet away from restaurants, galleries, shops, bars and clubs. And when you just want to relax, the beach is just a few yards away for a walk to see the the boats and the sunset.
