Yamamoto Ryokan

Just a 15-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Gion district, Yamamoto Ryokan provides simple accommodation in a traditional style. Rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon beds. Japanese cuisine is served. Each air-conditioned room at Ryokan Yamamoto has Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor cushions. An LCD TV is included, and bathrooms and toilets are shared. A 10-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station, the inn is a 5-minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Train Station and a 3-minute walk from Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple. Sanjusangen-do Temple is 1 km away. Japanese breakfasts and dinners are available for a fee, as are a traditional multi-course Kaiseki dinner and a Sukiyaki dinner. Special dinners must be ordered at time of booking. Meals are served either at guests’ rooms or at the dining room, depending on the number of guests at the time.
