The Maples is a Victorian house located in the village of Hythe, 1.7 miles from the edge of the New Forest National Park. The city of Southampton can be reached in 25 minutes via the Hythe Ferry. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room has a flat-screen TV with DVD player, USB charging socket, tea and homemade biscuits, and thick fluffy towels. Ironing facilities can be provided on request. A full cooked breakfast is on offer each morning, along with fruit, yoghurt and homemade preserves. Food can be enjoyed in the dining room, or in the courtyard garden during warmer months. The area is popular for golfing; Dibden Golf Centre is a 6-minute drive away and offers scenic views over the New Forest. From Hythe you can enjoy picturesque views across Southampton Water and its impressive cruise liners which come into the port on most days.
