Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. It offers modern rooms with air-conditioning and free WiFi. The rooms feature a minibar and a private bathroom with rain shower, free toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers. Each room has a Smart TV with international channels, coffee and tea making facilities, a keycard system, a safe, WiFi and cable internet. The conference and event centre of Grand Hotel Sofianu includes 5 versatile meeting and event rooms. Several tourist attractions can be easily reached by car, such as Cozia Monastery, 23 km away, or Salina Ocnele Mari, 7 km away.
