Jin Air was founded in 2008, has grown rapidly and has provided new and exciting travel experiences to thousands since it inaugural flight in July of that year. For example, in Korea's most competitive domestic route (Gimpo to Jeju), Jin Air has enjoyed the largest market share among all low cost carriers (LCCs) during the last three years, and has grown into the most "beloved" and leading LCC in Korea.
Jin Air emphasized on market leadership expanding various routes to Southeast Asia and achieve the most Southeast Asian routes of any Korean LCC by the end of 2015. As a first in the LCC Industry, Jin Air also leading the market by introducing medium-large aircraft (B777-299ER) on the long haul incheon-Honolulu route.
On 8th year celebration, Jin Air is now ready to take another new leap forward as an industry leader.
Jin Air, will initiate an operational excellence program to ensure that safety remains number one priority.
