San Simone is an elegant 19th-century villa set in a large park of over 60,000 m². Offering an infinity swimming pool with panoramic views, it is 4 km outside of Pistoia. Combining antique and modern furniture, Villa San Simone is set on the site of what were once a medieval convent and a Romanesque church from the 11th century. Its extensive grounds have plenty of wild animals such as squirrels and deers, plus a spacious garden with table tennis and a BBQ. Rooms and apartments combine antique furniture with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV with DVD player. Guests also have free use of the shared laundry room and the apartments come with a full kitchen with dishwasher. The villa is 10 minutes' drive from Pistoia Cathedral and the station for trains to Lucca and Florence. Free parking is provided.
