Hacienda La Alegria is a family horse farm situated in the heart of Ecuador´s panoramic Volcano Valley. It offers personalized horseback riding vacations, dairy farm animal activities and alpacas.
Rooms at La Alegria have traditional country-style décor with yellow walls and solid wood furniture. All have en suite bathrooms, rustic wood floors and ceilings, and ample windows with scenic farm views.
Guests at La Alegria can visit Cotopaxi Volcano, 1-hour drive from the hotel. Hike or relax in the picturesque flowered courtyard and rose garden, featuring a decorative water fountain.
There is home-made breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the rate, as well as day ride close to the hacienda.
Hacienda La Alegria is 60 km from Mariscal Sucre International Airport and 45 minutes' drive from Quito.
