This restored 19th-century manor house has an outdoor pool and shaded terrace with views of the Serra de Estrela Mountains. Located in Zebras village, it offers a games room with table tennis and darts. Featuring ornate wooden beds, the air-conditioned rooms at Solar Dos Caldeira country house have a TV, large windows and hardwood floors. The large private bathrooms are equipped with a bath and hairdryer. Original features include exposed stone walls and a large fireplace. The lounge areas have floor-to-ceiling curtains and a table and chairs. A library is also available. Staff can recommend local restaurants that serve Portuguese dishes. Several of these can be reached within a 15-minute drive. The hiking trails in Parque Natural Serra da Estrela are within a 40-minute drive of Solar dos Caldeira e Bourbon and there is free parking on site.
