Sunshine Bay Guesthouse is located in a rural setting, midway between the town of Nelson and Ainsworth Hot Springs. The property is only a 5 minute walk to Sunshine Bay Park on Kootenay Lake where boating, swimming, picnicking and even a playground for young children can be found.
The property itself has a semi-private fenced yard with a barbecue, fire pit and views of the garden, fields and mountains that surround it. Inside the timber frame guesthouse guests will find a fully equipped kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and small, out of the way common area with a fourth bed for children and younger teenagers.
Hiking and mountain biking are close at hand in the surrounding mountain areas and if you're a skier, Whitewater Ski Resort is only 53km away.
The Balfour 18 Hole Golf Course is 15 km from the property, and the world class Kokanee Springs Golf Course is an hour away. The nearest airport is Castlegar Airport, located 73 km away.
