Hotel Istria is set in Trieste's historical centre, a 15-minute walk from the train station and the central Piazza dell' Unità d'Italia square. All rooms are simply decorated, and feature independent heating. Each comes with a 26" LCD TV, and a private bathroom, complete with toiletries. Trieste Cathedral is reachable in around 10 minutes on foot. The city's Maggiore Hospital is 100 metres away.
