Around 15 minutes’ drive from Shaftesbury, Yew Tree View provides studio accommodation in the Dorset village of Marnhull, the inspiration for Marlott in Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles. In a quiet location, this apartment sleeps 2 and provides free parking and Wi-Fi. Yew Tree View looks out over the gardens, and includes a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, and kitchenware provided. There is also a TV with Netflix and NOW TV in the double bedroom, and a dining table and chairs. This compact apartment also includes a shower room with wash-basin and toilet. The property is situated within the grounds of a family home next door, overlooking beautiful Dorset countryside, with a range of public footpaths accessible from the door of the apartment.. The pretty village of Marnhull has a small convenience store around a 10-minute walk from this apartment, and a beautiful 15th century pub is in walking distance. Dorchester and Salisbury are 40-50 minutes’ drive, with the historic city of Bath around 1 hour away.
