Introduction

FireFly (FY) is a low cost carrier airline flying to domestic & international routes. The airline gives the passengers with a cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg and maximum size of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The passengers flying international route with FireFly will get free checked baggage allowance of 10 kg, while the domestic flight passengers is provided with 10 kg. Passenger can start checking in at the airport 180 minutes before the departure time. Check in online is allowed for flights with the airline on FireFly official website page. It can be done 7 days prior to scheduled flight departure time.

1. Go to Airpaz site, or access the Airpaz application (Android/iOS) on your gadget. 2. Fill in the details in the flight search box. 3. Choose your perfect flight. 4. Fill in the passenger detail and contact information on the booking page. 5. Complete your payment through the selected method. 6. Find your FireFly flight e-itinerary in the My Booking page, or in your registered email.

History

FireFly which operates with IATA code (FY) and ICAO code (FFM) was first founded in 2007. The airline is managed by FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd. Across the years, FireFly intended to satisfy more customers through the services it provides. This airline began its operation on 03-04-2007

Flight Attendant

FireFly cabin crew wears a uniform that is dominated by orange, grey, white. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with list orange, grey vest with grey trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear orange dress with white belt with orange skirt, orange shoes. The design itself was perfectly laid out, making it easier for the crew to move around the cabin while providing passengers’ needs.

Baggage

Web Check-in

Passengers can do web check in through the official website of FireFly. To do so, click here to go to the airline’s check-in page. Web check-in can be done 7 days prior to scheduled departure time.

Airport Check-in

Airport check in can be done in the FireFly check-in counters 180 minutes prior to the flight departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Kiosk Check-in

FireFly does not support kiosk check in services for the passengers.

App Check-in

App check-in through the airline’s official mobile (Android/iOS) application is possible. To do so, download the FireFly mobile application on their smartphone. The check in time is 168 hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
