Neos operating with IATA (NO) and ICAO (NOS) was established in 2001. The airline is managed by Neos S.p.A.. Throughout the years, Neos has grown remarkably and continues to provide a trustworthy service for their passengers. Nowadays, the airline has successfully obtained "NEOS has been the first Italian air carrier being authorized to fly the route Italy-Cape Verde, followed by routes to the Canary Islands in August 2003 and started to operate its long haul flights in December 2004. NEOS has been the first Italian airline to be certified JAR OPS since its inception.".
