Introduction

FireFly (FY) is a low cost carrier airline operating domestic & international routes. The airline provides the passenger with a cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg and maximum size of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The international route fare includes free checked baggage allowance of 10 kg while the domestic route fare also includes free checked baggage allowance of 10 kg. Check in time at the airport starts from 180 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Online check in is allowed for flight with the airline on FireFly official website page. It can be processed 7 days before scheduled departure time.

How to Book

1. Go to Airpaz site, or open the Airpaz application (Android/iOS) on your gadget. 2. Fill in the flight details in the flight search box. 3. Choose the best flight. 4. Fill in the passenger and contact information on the booking page. 5. Process your payment through the selected payment method. 6. Get your FireFly flight e-itinerary in the My Booking page, or in your email.

History

FireFly operating with IATA code (FY) and ICAO code (FFM) was first founded in 2007. The airline is managed by FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd. During its period of establishment, FireFly has grown significantly and continues to provide a reliable service for their passengers. This airline started its operation on 03-04-2007

Flight Attendant

FireFly cabin crew wears a uniform that is dominated by orange, grey, white. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with list orange, grey vest and grey trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear orange dress with white belt with orange skirt, orange shoes. The design itself has been perfectly laid out, making it easier for the crew to move around the cabin while serving the passengers.

Baggage

Web Check-in

Passengers can do web check in through the official website of FireFly. To do so, click here to go to the airline’s check-in page. Web check-in page can be done 7 days prior to scheduled departure time.

Airport Check-in

Airport check in can be done in the FireFly check-in counters 180 minutes prior to the flight departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Kiosk Check-in

Kiosk check in service is not available for passengers of FireFly.

App Check-in

It is possible for FireFly passengers to check in through the airline’s official mobile (Android/iOS) app. To do so, the passengers should download the FireFly mobile application on their mobile. The check in time is 168 hours before the flight departure time.
