History

Himalaya Airlines operating with IATA (H9) and ICAO (HIM) runs under the management of Himalaya Airlines Pvt. Ltd.. The airline was first founded in 2014. During the year of its establishment, Himalaya Airlines aspire to satisfy more customers through the services it offers. This airline was first flown on 31-05-2016. The first ever flight route was Kathmandu (KTM) - Doha (DIA) using Airbus A320. Himalaya Airlines has been awarded Leading New International Airlines in South Asia, received at South Asian Travel Awards (SATA,) in 2017, Best Airlines of the Year – Hybrid & LCC by Best Airlines Award Nepal (BAAN) in 2022.
